ARIADNE “RAVEN” STEVENSON, M.A., REGISTERED MENTAL HEALTH

Ariadne “Raven” Stevenson, M.A., is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern whose clinical work focuses on helping clients navigate grief, life transitions, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and other trauma-related concerns.

Raven holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rollins College, where she completed over 800 clinical hours during her practicum and internship at the Orlando VA Medical Center—becoming the first Rollins student to intern within that program. There, she provided individual and group counseling to veterans experiencing post-traumatic symptoms, moral injury, and loss, while gaining specialized training in Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Written Exposure Therapy, and the diagnosis and treatment of PTSD. At Rollins College’s Center for Health and Wellness, Raven counseled undergraduate students exploring sexual identity, gender transitions, interpersonal relationships, and academic stressors.

Raven’s therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. She believes that healing unfolds within a safe and supportive relationship—one that encourages self-reflection, courage, and growth. Her sessions are guided by empathy and cultural humility, inviting clients to reconnect with their authentic selves while developing the tools to manage life’s challenges more effectively.

Before entering the field of mental health, Raven worked for twelve years as a veterinary nurse, where she developed a passion for rehabilitating rescued animals, particularly fear-aggressive dogs and orphaned raccoons. Outside of her professional life, Raven enjoys yoga, rock climbing, hiking, and travel. She brings this same sense of compassion, curiosity, and perseverance into her work with clients—believing that every person has the capacity to heal, grow, and create a life that feels both grounded and meaningful.
